People and Gardens, a charity based in Cornwall, UK, supports those with learning disabilities and mental health issues to develop work and social skills to enable them to take control over their own lives. When the COVID 19 pandemic hit, life became much harder and much more frightening for many of those that People and Gardens support, alongside the wider community. Anxiety has been high, and with these fears, alongside the safe place for many, People and Gardens having to close because of restrictions, the last year has been full of challenges. But as you will see, despite this, the future for People and Gardens is still brimming with achievement and a greenhouse packed with smiles.
